Name of post: Assistant Commandants (Group A) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force(CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)
No of posts: 209 posts (BSF- 78, CRPF-13, CISF- 69, ITBP-27, SSB-22 )
Age : 20-25 years as on 1st August, 2020. i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1995 and not later than 1st August, 2000. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.
Educational Qualification: Graduate any discipline (Arts, Science,Commerce)
Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.
Who can apply: Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for appointment to the post of Assistant Commandants.
Pay: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.5400/- revised to Pay Level 10 Rs.56100 in 7th CPC Pay Matrix
Selection Procedure: Selection will be based on the basis of a written examination to be conducted on 20th December, 2020 by the UPSC followed by Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Standards Test to be conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Personality Test/ Interview to be conducted by UPSC.
