Educational Qualification:
i) The candidates must possess a Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
ii) The candidates should possess a Diploma in Hindi Stenography having the qualifying Speed of 80 words per minute as well as DTP typewriting (Hindi) from a recognised Institution.
iii) The candidate should have 6(six) months Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application.
iv) The Candidate must have sound knowledge of Assamese and English language.
v) The candidates having knowledge/experience in Parliamentary functioning shall be given preference.
2. Hindi Translator

Pay: Rs. 25000/- per month
Educational Qualification:
i) The candidates must possess a Bachelor degree or its equivalent in any discipline from a recognized University with Hindi as one of the Subject in the course.
ii) The Candidate should have sound knowledge in Assamese and English literature.
iii) The candidate should have 6(six) months Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application.
iv) The candidates having knowledge/experiences in Parliamentary functioning or Reporting in Hindi News Papers shall be given preference.
3. Bengali Translator
No of posts: 1
Pay: Rs. 25000/- per month
Educational Qualification:
i) The candidates must possess a Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized University with Bengali as one of the Subject in the course.
ii) The Candidate should have sound knowledge in Assamese, English and Bengali literature.
iii) The candidate should have 6 (six) months Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application.
iv) The candidates having knowledge/experience in Parliamentary functioning or Reporting in Bengali News Papers shall be given preference.
4. Karbi Translator
No of posts: 1
Pay: Rs. 25000/- per month
Educational Qualification:
i) The candidates must possess a Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
ii) The Candidate should have sound knowledge in Assamese, English and Karbi language/literature.
iii) The candidate should have 6(six) months Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application.
iv) The candidates having knowledge/experience in Parliamentary functioning or Reporting in Karbi News Papers shall be given preference.
Age Limit: The applicant must not be less than 21 years or more than 40 years of age as on 01-01-2026.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable
i) By 3 Years for OBC/MOBC candidates, and
ii) By 5 years for SC/ST(P) &(H) candidates for each post.
Note: The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the School/Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card/Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council/Schools/ or Other Government document, as applicable and notified.
Term of appointment: The term of initial appointment shall be for six months and may be extended for a subsequent period depending upon the necessity of the work.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates for the above-mentioned posts will be carried out through the following process:
Shortlisting of Candidates: The Assembly Secretariat will prepare a shortlist of eligible candidates based on the prescribed eligibility criteria.
Speed Test for Hindi Reporters: Candidates shortlisted for the post of Hindi Reporter will have to appear for a Speed Test conducted by the Assembly Secretariat.
Interview for Translators: Candidates shortlisted for the posts of Hindi/ Karbi/ Bengali Translator will be required to appear before an Interview Board constituted by the Assembly Secretariat.
