1) Name of the Post: Grade IV- Peon (Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam)

Educational Qualification: HSLC Passed with medium vehicle license provided by competent authority.
5) Name of the Post: Junior Assistant (Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam)

Educational Qualification:
- Must have a Bachelor Degree and
- computer Knowledge ( Word Processor (both in English & Assamese) / Spreadsheets /Presentation graphics /Concept of database/ Internet ,E-mail)
- Must possess a minimum 6 (six) months Diploma in Computer Application from an institute recognised by the Government.
Age: 18-44 years in respect of General/ Unreserved Candidates, 47 in respect of OBC/ MOBC Candidates and 49 years in respect of SC/ ST and Persons with Disability (PwD) as on 01/01/2019. The relaxation shall be applicable only to those candidates who have attained the necessary educational and other qualifications prior to crossing of existing upper age limit of 38 years. There will be no provision for age condonation.
Selection Process: (SI. Post: 5, 6, 7, 8)
The candidates must undergo a Written Examination (OMR), A Writing Ability Test and Computer Proficiency Test in a phase manner.
- 1st Phase: The Written Examination will be held for total 100 marks
- 2nd Phase: The Writing Ability Test will be held for total 30 marks to assess the Language Skill of English and Assamese.
- 3rd Phase: The Computer Proficiency Test will be held for total 20 marks Candidates must have to qualify in the 1st Phase to appear in the 2nd Phase and 3rd Phase respectively.
