Phase-I: The candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear in an objective type written test to be held in the District Headquarters of Assam.
The syllabus of the Objective Type Written Test will be as follows:
1. General English including General Knowledge and Quantitative Aptitude: 150 marks
2. Knowledge of Computer (Theory): 50 marks
3. Language Skills Test in Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo/ Alternative English: 50 marks
Syllabus:
1. General English:
a) Comprehension Passages
b) Error in a sentence
c) Fill in the blank with one of the four alternatives
d) Jumbled sentence
e) Best substitute for the given words/sentences
2. General Knowledge:
a) Computer Basics
b) Modern Indian History
c) Books and Authors
d) Indian Polity
e) General Science
f) Awards
g) Geography
3. Quantitative Aptitude:
a) Profit, Loss and Discount
b) Root
c) Ratio
d) Number System
e) Work, Man & Days
f) Speed
3. Knowledge of Computer (Theory): OS, MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, INTERNET, Full Form (52 Question).
Phase-lI: Against each vacancy, three candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test.
After the written test, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear in a Computer Practical Test and Precis Writing test to be held centrally in Guwahati.
Total marks for the Computer (Practical) Test will be 50 Marks and Precis Writing Test will be 50 Marks.
