Directorate of Health Services, Assam Recruitment 2018

In continuation of earlier advertisement vide Letter No. HSE/Apptt./113/2018/10474 dated 29th October. 2018 published in “The Assam Tribune” Newspaper vide No. Janasanyog/D/6193/18, inviting applications from intending eligible Indian citizens as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for filling-up of 59 posts of Grade-IV (Ward Boy, Ward Girl & Night Chowkider) in the remaining newly created Model Hospitals under the establishment of the Directorate of Health Services, Assam, it is further notified that, another 541 posts of Grade-IV (existing vacancies under the establishment of Jt.DHS of districts) added to the earlier advertised 59 posts of Grade-IV. It is for information of all intending candidates that, now the total number of posts of Grade-IV inviting applications, will stand at 600 (541+59). The intending candidates may submit applications online in the website of the Directorate of Health Services, Assam i.e. www.dhs.assam.gov.in with effect from 24-12-2018 to 02-01-2019 till midnight

Educational Qualification: Class VIII Passed

Pay: Pay Band – 1, Rs. 12000/- Rs. 37500/- + Rs. 3900 Grade Pay

Age: Candidate must not be less than 18 years and more than 44 years as on 03rd March’ 2018. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H) candidates, 3 years for OBC/MOBC and 10 years relaxation to person with disability (DIVYANG). Reservation of physically handicapped person (PWD) will be as per Govt. rule.

How to apply: 

The intending candidates may submit applications online in the website of the Directorate of Health Services, Assam i.e. www.dhs.assam.gov.in with effect from 24-12-2018 to 02-01-2019 till midnight.

The candidates who have submitted applications in response to earlier advertisement need not submit application again in response to this addendum advertisement.


The following documents in original will have to be produced at the time of document verification and photocopies of all certificates etc. are to be submitted.(a) 02 (two) Copies of recent passport size colour photograph duly self attested.
(b) Birth Certificate for age proof.
(c) Physically Handicap Certificate (if any).
(d) Pass certificate.
(e) Caste certificate (where applicable).
(f) Permanent Residential Certificate / Domicile Certificate (If any).
(g) Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.3. Detailed list of eligible candidate for each post along with the details of selection test shall be notified in due course of time and shall be displayed in the website (www.dhs.assam.gov.in)
Tie-Breaking of Marks :- In the case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks, for such instance or case, age preference will be given ie candidates older / senior in age will be placed higher in merit.Important Dates:Online Apply Starting Date: 10.11.2018
