Directorate of Technical Education, Assam Recruitment 2020 @ Grade III & IV Posts

Online applications are invited from the permanent residents of Assam for recruitment to the following Grade-III & IV posts at Dhemaji Engineering College, Dhemaji to be made functional from August 2020 under the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam.

1. Name of post: Junior Assistant

No of posts: 08[UR:4,OBC: 2,SC: 1, ST(P): 1]

Pay: 14,000-60,500 + GP-6200

Qualification:

(a) Bachelor Degree in any discipline OR equivalent

(b) Must possess Computer Skills & proficiency for handling data and text on computer.

 

2. Name of post: Junior Instructor

No of posts: 14[UR:6,OBC: 4,SC: 1, ST(P): 1,ST(H):1,EWS:1]

Pay: 14,000-60,500 + GP-6800

Qualification:

(a) Passed HSLC or TSLC and having Certificate from ITI or equivalent in appropriate trade with 5 years of experience in the relevant trade.

(b) The experience must be from Govt. recognised organisation  

 

3. Name of post: Scientific Assistant(Physics)

No of posts: 01[UR]

Pay: 14,000-60,500 + GP-7400

Qualification:

(a)Degree in Science with -Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (b) Preference will be given to candidates having Major/Honours in Physics in Degree level

 

4. Name of post: Scientific Assistant(Chemistry)

No of posts: 01[UR]

Pay: 14,000-60,500 + GP-7400

Qualification:

(a)Degree in Science with -Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (b) Preference will be given to candidates having Major/Honours in Chemistry in Degree level.

 

5.Name of post: Grade-IV [Bearer, Peon, Chowkidar, Workshop Jugali, Mali etc.]

No of posts: 30[UR:12,OBC: 8,SC: 2, ST(P): 3, ST(H): 2, EWS: 3]

Pay: 12000-52000 + GP-3900

Qualification: Class VIII Passed

Age: 18-38 years of age on 01.01.2020. However, the upper age limit is relaxable as per existing Govt. rules. There shall be usual reservation for SC/ST/STH/OBC/EWS Candidates including Women and PWDs (Person with disabilities) as per Govt. rules.

Selection Process:[FOR Grade-IV]

a. Candidates will have to appear in a Written Test for selection.

b. Written Test: Details of the written test will be uploaded in the website and published in the News Paper.

Selection Process:[FOR Grade-III]

a. Candidates may be Short Listed based on the overall academic records. In such a case only Short listed candidates will have to appear in the Written Test.

b. Written Test & Computer Proficiency/Practical Test: Details of the written test & computer proficiency test will be uploaded in the website and will also be published in the News Paper

Candidates are requested to read the “General Terms and Conditions to Apply” carefully before filing the Online Application Form. The Online Application will start from 10/02/2020 and will remain open till 03/03/2020.

1. The candidate must upload the scan copy of the proof of PRC of Assam, qualifying examination, Age, Caste etc. along with recent passport size photograph and specimen signature at the time of online application.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS TO APPLY:

1. Schedule and other details of written test shall be uploaded in www.dte.assam.gov.in

2. The candidate must produce the Original of all the documents mentioned in Sl. No.4 and submit self-attested copies of all the testimonials along with 3 (three) copies of self-attested recent Passport size photograph in due course of time which will be notified later in the Website.

3. Applicants who are already employed must apply through their respective employer within the stipulated period mentioning the Unique Number generated against the submitted online application.

4. No application either by Post or in Person shall be entertained by the office of the undersigned.

5. Any change or amendment to this Advertisement will be posted on the above-mentioned website only.

6. Incomplete / defective applications shall be rejected without giving any intimation to the Candidates/applicants.

7. Submission of wrong/false information in the online application may lead to cancellation of candidature of the candidate at any stage of the selection process.

8. Department shall not be responsible for non-submission of application for problem in the network or any other reason.

9. Canvassing directly or indirectly shall disqualify a candidate.
