Assam Public Service Commission invites application from Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for the undermentioned posts under Assam Government in the scale of pay as indicated below and carrying usual allowances as admissible under Rules of the Govt. of Assam..

1. Name of post: Junior Engineer (Civil) [Water Resources Department]
No of posts: 87 [UR: 47, OBC/ MOBC: 21, STP: 7, STH: 7, EWS: 5]

Scale of Pay: Rs. 14,000/- to 60,500/- Grade Pay: Rs. 8,700/-

Educational Qualification: A candidate must have passed 3(three) years Diploma Course in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Govt.

Age: 18 – 38 years of age as on 01/01/2020.
The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years.
(iii) For Persons with Disability (PWD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate.

2. Name of post: Enforcement Inspector [Transport Department, Assam]
No of posts: 5 [UR: 2, OBC/ MOBC: 2, SC: 1]
Scale of Pay: Rs. 22,000/- to 97,000/- Grade Pay: Rs. 9,400

Educational Qualification:
A Degree in Arts/Science or Commerce or H.S.S.L.C with 3(three) years Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised Institute of Govt. of Assam/ Govt. of India and also duly recognised by AICTE.

Age: 21 – 38 years of age as on 01/01/2020. The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years

Resident-ship:
The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. For proof of permanent residence, the candidate or his/her parents must be voter of Assam. The voter ID card of the candidate or his/her parents will be treated as proof of permanent residence.
