1. Driver Mechanical Transport (Ordinary Grade) 
No of posts: 388 posts (UR-159, OBC-104, EWS-38, SC-58, ST-29)
Educational Qualification: 10^th Pass/Possessing a heavy Motor vehicle driving licence:
or
Having passed class III Course for Driven Plant Mechanical Transport as laid down in Defence Service Regulations (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from office of Records or Centres or similar establishment of Defence.
Pay: Rs. 19900-44400 (As per 7th Pay Commission)
Age: 18 to 27 years.

2. Electrician 
No of posts: 101 posts (UR-42, OBC-27, EWS-10, SC-15, ST-7)
Educational Qualification: 10^th Pass/Possessing certificate of Auto Electrician from ITI or equivalent and having one year experience as Electrician;
or
Having passed the Electrician Class 2 Course as laid down in Defence Service Regulations (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from office of Records or Centres or similar establishment of Defence.
Pay: Level – 2 Rs. 19900-44400 (As per 7th Pay Commission)
Age: 18 to 27 years.

3. Vehicle Mechanic 
No of posts: 92 posts (UR-40, OBC-24, EWS-9, SC-13, ST-6)
Educational Qualification: 10^th Pass/Possessing Certificate of Mechanic in Motor Vehicle / Diesel / Heat Engine.
or
Possessing certificate of mechanic in internal Combustion Engine / Tractor from ITI or equivalent;
or
Having passed the Defence Trade Certificate from an Army Institute, or similar establishment of Defence or having passed Vehicle Mechanic Class 2 Course as laid down in Defence Service Regulations, (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from office of Records or Centres or similar establishment of Defence.
Pay: Level – 2 Rs. 19900-44400 (As per 7th Pay Commission)
Age: Between 18 to 27 years.

4. Multi Skilled Worker (Cook) 
No of posts: 197 posts (UR-81, OBC-53, EWS-20, SC-29, ST-14)
Educational Qualification: 10^th Pass/Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organisation.
(iii) Should qualify physical tests as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
(iv) Should meet physical and medical standards as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
Pay: Level – 1 Rs. 18000-39900 (As per 7th Pay Commission)
Age: Between 18 to 25 years.
